I was very happy when I read this post on [community profile] historium about such a rare find!

This short story can be read on this site through the scans of a microfilm copy of the newspaper where it was originally published. However, it can be hard to read there, so this morning I decided to transcribe it myself, since the article linked in the post I linked above only contains one transcribed paragraph and the whole story doesn't seem to have been transcribed anywhere yet. This is, of course, a very unofficial, amateur transcription I've done: I've corrected some typos found in the scan, but in some cases I wasn't 100% sure of what the original word was supposed to be. Thus, there might be a mistake here and there.

You can read my transcription under the cut.

Update: the story is now available on Wikisource as well!
