Some links and other things

Fellow podcast fans, I don't know about you, but I'm pretty excited about what's coming in 2019 so far. The Whisperforge has announced at least 3 new audiodramas (if I remember correctly), and apparently the first one to be released is gonna be Caravan. The story and characters sound very appealing to me (a millennial protagonist who falls into a hidden world full of demons and vampires, and who joins a caravan of bounty hunters lead by a trans/nb cowboy) and at last the cast information has been published. While I only know 3 of the people listed, I'm very excited to hear all the voices and how they work together. Oh, and also, Evan Cunningham is the creator of the theme music, and after how much I liked the musical episode of The Bright Sessions, I'm expecting great music. Of course, Mischa Stanton is the lead sound designer, and they are really the best at it (they won 4 or 5 awards on the audioverse awards this year!). Are there any more new audiodramas you are excited about?

I don't know how many of you know about my obsession with French webseries by the Frenchball/Frenchnerd team, but I think that this time it's been very helpful for me to get addicted again. Since their most famous show, Le Visiteur du Futur, is gonna be made into a movie (a sequel, but apparently it's gonna be made so that anyone can watch, even if they don't know the show), I've been rewatching the show. The sad part is, for some reason season 3 is blocked on YouTube for several countries (I'm on a discord server and met an Australian fan who had the same problem). So, I'm having to watch them somewhere else, but with no subtitles. And what am I doing? I'm taking French lessons on Duolingo. Now, I studied some French in high school, but I've forgotten a lot, so this is making me remember what I knew and also I'm learning some new things. I've been taking lessons for 8 days now I think! Let's see if I can keep it going.

Finally, I'd like to talk a bit about icons. You see, I've only ever used LJ to post icons and participate in icon challenges, and I started in 2012. I managed to make some beautiful icons over the years, and I loved the community. Now that I'm on DW I've posted some icons here, but I still participate on challenges on LJ and I feel like the community is much more active there. It's weird, because everything else is pretty much dead on LJ and getting more activity here.
