    <title>RIP Michael Keating</title>

    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;As some of you probably know by now, we heard about Michael Keating's passing a couple of days ago, although his agent confirmed he had passed away in &lt;a href="https://eu.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/tv/2026/05/21/michael-keating-dead-eastenders-blakes-7/90197321007/"&gt;late April&lt;/a&gt;. I've been upset about it as I'm sure the entire fandom is. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but everyone who did only has good things to say about him, from what I can see. Every time I introduce someone to Blake's 7, Vila is the first character they love, and it was the same for me. MK's performance made the character memorable and loved by the audience, which remains true for new fans to this day and will continue to be so in the future, I'm sure.
